The answer is near and dear to our hearts, so we want to share a piece of it with you. 🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Once we began having kids, we slowly realized that it wasn’t the life we wanted for our growing family. So we made the shocking decision to quit weddings while Austin put all his focus on his other companies.
However, we felt like God was calling us to something. We were left with a strong feeling that we weren’t just going to “casually exit” the wedding industry….
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As we had many conversations about it, we both began to feel an overwhelming conviction to transition from supporting couples on their wedding day, to supporting them in their marriage. It’s incredible how God opened door after door and gave us affirmation after affirmation that this was where He wanted us to go. We realized that our decade shooting weddings was preparing us to bring new life into marriages all across the world! 😮🎉

It became very clear that God called us to create a marriage coaching and counseling program now known as Because Marriage Matters. Through Because Marriage Matters we are able to reach couples on a much deeper level than we were ever able to as photographers.

We have real relationships with each and every couple we work with, and get to help them turn their marriages into thriving ones – no matter what state they are in when they start!
